When Ashley Thompson and Ana Homonnay aren’t on a job, they’re often out test shooting, experimenting with angles, lighting and lenses. But they have to borrow the models – at age 11, their own kids are totally over it.
Focused primarily on children and teens, the San Francisco-based photography team shares an honest, natural aesthetic and a passion for visual storytelling. They’ve partnered with clients like Adobe, Pottery Barn Kids, Peek Clothing and the Golden State Warrior Foundation, and have been recognized by the International Photography Awards and named Best of California by PDN Magazine.
When they can get away, Ana heads home to her native Brazil for fresh inspiration. Ashley prefers to travel back in time, hunting quiet back roads for old, abandoned places whose stories need telling.
